Happy Family Day! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend with family. This week, we will be continuing to collect mittens and socks for "Shepherds of Good Hope" and participating in "Random Acts of Kindness." Hopefully, your child will also do some acts of kindness at home.We are also starting our new math unit in Geometry and Spatial Sense: Exploring 2D and 3D shapes. The children have explored the shapes and have brainstormed some ways to reach our learning goals for this unit. These learning goals include: Being able to name and describe shapes and solids, identify attributes of the solids (things they can do like roll, stack) and sort the shapes using a sorting rule.
